drawing has always
been something that i enjoyed, even as a child using
crayons to draw on the walls.
drawing sessions with two wonderful friends fueled me to
transform the way that i paint. these sessions allowed me
to experiment combining contrasting styles and techniques.
my main "philosophy" is to incorporate different methods
and media. i also depend heavily on existing imagery.
whether its in a magazine or photos....i use, distort, and
combine them.
in the end, i don't strive to convey some ambiguous life
lesson or important message in my art. not to say that i
don't admire those who do. nor do i feel that my paintings
are completely random in their nature. i just don't
meticulously plan them or feel the need to discuss their
meaning. instead i prefer for spectators to attach their
own meaning.
